Grooming tables and pet bathtubs: 28 new models
Clinic supplies add 23 dog grooming tables and 5 pet bathtubs, sorted by how the table lifts: electric tables raised by a foot switch (including low-entry scissor models that drop to 240 mm and a table with an illuminated top), hydraulic tables with a foot pump, and folding tables from 10 to 20 kg for mobile groomers. Two folding dog steps and a cat exercise wheel were added the same day. Every model lists its dimensions, carton size and gross weight for container planning.
Shrimp disease signs: 28 symptoms and the PCR for each
A new blog note takes the chart of 28 disease signs in whiteleg shrimp, from white spots and red tail to black gill and white faeces, and maps each sign to the pathogens it is associated with and the lyophilised PCR kit that confirms the cause. Signs with no single cause are marked as such.
The rapid test line adds a latex immunochromatographic cassette for dermatophytosis (ringworm) in dogs and cats. It detects α-1,6-mannan, a cell-wall antigen of dermatophyte fungi, in a swab from the edge of the lesion and is read by eye in 15 minutes, avoiding the limited sensitivity of a Wood’s lamp. Kits of 2 to 25 tests, stored at room temperature; the product brochure can be downloaded from the product page.
Aquaculture line extended to 73 lyophilised qPCR kits
The aquaculture range now covers 78 items: 73 lyophilised real-time PCR kits for shrimp, prawn, fish and frog pathogens, including duplex and quadruplex kits for EHP, WSSV, AHPND, IHHNV, TSV, YHV, TiLV and Vibrio, and five nucleic-acid extraction kits, three of them magnetic-bead kits for tissue, water and pond sediment. A compact real-time PCR analyser completes the line for farms and hatcheries with no PCR laboratory.
All 399 catalogue items, from rapid tests to clinic furniture, now have an individual page with specifications, ordering steps, related items and the questions distributors ask most. The pages are published in English, Spanish, French, Russian and Arabic and can be sent to a customer as a direct link.
Blog opens with clinical trials and method comparisons
The blog brings together the clinical trials and validation studies behind the assays and a set of technical notes comparing methods: isothermal amplification against lateral flow and laboratory PCR, quantitative immunofluorescence against semi-quantitative strips, lyophilised qPCR against wet-reagent PCR, and multiplex panels against single-target kits.
Six filmed procedures now sit on the product-line pages: unpacking and start-up, sample preparation, card loading, reading the result, and the immunofluorescence reader workflow. They are hosted on our own site, so a distributor can share a link with a clinic without sending a file.
We attend veterinary and aquaculture trade shows together with our manufacturing partners, and we visit customers around the major regional exhibitions.
