The Canine Parvovirus Antigen Rapid Test is the parvo test kit for the consulting room and the shelter: a lateral-flow cassette that detects canine parvovirus (CPV) antigen in faeces or a rectal swab and is read by eye in 10 to 15 minutes, with no instrument.
Supplied as 10 tests per kit. On a dog with bloody diarrhoea a parvo line alone is often not the whole answer, so the same cassette format exists as parvo/coronavirus and parvo/coronavirus/giardia combos, the sealed FPV / CPV card covers parvovirus in dogs and cats, and the canine gastrointestinal PCR panels run parvo with up to seven further enteric targets from one sample.
