Mini8 Plus realtime fluorescence quantitative PCR is designed for the rapid molecular diagnostics market research and development. The system is intended to be used under the supervision of a laboratory professional. The specified design allowing it to be used in smaller isolated areas of the laboratory. The dual-channel design can be used with most common reagents in the market. The product interface with intuitive and concise design style is very user-friendly to operate.
The device top panel has 8 reagent tube wells under a cover. The hot cover contains a heater inside. There are four LED indicators on the top to display status. The power switch is located on the side. Power jack is located in the rear along with an USB port. Cooling vents are located on 3 sides of the device.
This product adds a fluorescence signal acquisition module and a computer analysis processing system to a regular PCR process, to make it a real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) device. The PCR amplification principle is the same for both regular PCR and qPCR. The difference is qPCR adds a specific fluorescent probe or fluorescent dye combined with two-strands DNA in addition to PCR amplification. The amplification results are collected by the fluorescence signal acquisition module, then process and display the results in real time.
The device is composed of optical module, heat dissipation module, temperature detection and protection module, power module, control module (power control board, data processing board) and software.
